Eplet is a small and popular guesthouse with limited capacity. We have been running for 20 years and we don't need to be completely full all year. We have decided not to be listed on airbnb or booking.com. We want you to search a little bit to find our place. To be visible on the internet we are listed on hostelworld, but we prefer direct bookings. This makes it 15 % cheaper for you.

We also don't have an automated booking system. We want to have e-mail correspondance with all our guests. It takes a lot of time, but this way we avoid having no-shows or late cancellations which is a big problem for so many guesthouses. Since we don't have any no-shows at all we can keep the prices down :)

1. Send a short email to post@eplet.no with dates, how many days, how many people and which kind of accomodation you are interrested in.
2. We reply and tell what is available and which alternatives you have.
3. You decide what you want and accept the offer.
4. We reply a short confirmation.

As farmers and juice producers we are working a lot and we don't carry a smartphone with us. We only answer e-mails in the reception office. During high season we try to answer daily or twice a day, during winter time only twice a week. We are not able to do bookings by phone. Please only call us if you need to book a room less than 24 hours in advance, or in case of an emergency.

Cancellation policy. If you don't want to keep your booking please tell us as early as possible. If you decide to cancel during the last 2 weeks before arrival without any important reason and we don't manage to rent out the rooms to others we are happy if you accept that we send you the invoice. We are small and we rely on you :)
